Kris Hart

Kristine “Kris” Hart is a Christ-centered servant leader whose life’s work reflects a deep calling to stand in the gap for vulnerable children, youth, and families. For more than twenty years, she has followed the Lord’s leading to create safe places where young people can heal from trauma, rediscover their worth, and step into the future God has prepared for them.

Kris began answering this calling long before launching formal programs. In 2000, she started a holiday outreach that continues today—bringing hope, dignity, and joy to approximately 1,000 children each year. What began as an act of obedience became a lasting ministry expression of compassion in action.

In 2004, Kris founded her first nonprofit organization and opened three therapeutic homes serving girls who had experienced severe trauma. Over time, she was led to respond to an even greater need—supporting adolescent survivors of human trafficking and exploitation. Through prayerful leadership and persistence, she helped develop specialized residential healing programs where young women could rebuild trust, identity, and purpose in a safe and nurturing environment.

When the COVID-19 pandemic created new instability for young adults aging out of care, Kris again stepped forward in faith to expand services—opening transitional housing programs for young women and later young men seeking stability, direction, and hope.

Throughout her journey, Kris has partnered with counties, agencies, churches, and community leaders across California to strengthen systems of care for vulnerable youth. She has served on regional human-trafficking task forces and collaborative initiatives supporting exploited children and continues to mentor organizations seeking to open safe homes for youth in need.

Kris and her family also lived their ministry personally by welcoming approximately 20 foster youth into their home as a Resource Family. Her approach to leadership has always reflected the belief that ministry begins at the table, in relationship, and through consistent presence in the lives of those who need hope the most.

She was honored as the 2017 Woman of the Year by the Junior League of Santa Barbara, recognizing the impact of her service to children and families.

Kris is the proud mother of two daughters and an adopted son, Jimmy, and the joyful grandmother of ten. She faithfully served alongside her sister, Lorie, sharing a lifelong commitment to being the hands and feet of Christ in the lives of children until Lorie’s passing on August 25, 2025. Their shared mission continues to shape the heart behind Kris’s ministry today.

Kris speaks with compassion, authenticity, and conviction about restoration, calling, and the responsibility believers have to care for those the world often overlooks. Her message reflects a simple but powerful truth:

God still restores lives. God still calls ordinary people. And God still uses obedience to change generations.

Nancy Lewis

In May 1977, Nancy Lewis graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Abilene Christian University. Soon after, she enrolled in the University of Texas at Tyler where she again studied Psychology, earning her Master’s in 1979. For the next nearly thirty-five years, she worked in the field of medical and vocational case management. Her career culminated in the positions of Vice President and Program Manager for one of the largest women-owned case management companies in Texas. When that business closed, Nancy and her husband decided to pursue a quieter lifestyle, and in 2016 they left San Antonio and moved to Mena.

Nancy soon realized retirement wasn’t what she was looking for after all. For several years she worked first as a Security Guard and then as the Manager of a Thrift Store. Satisfying as these positions were in some ways, they didn’t fulfill the call of her heart for a ministry, something that would make a lasting difference. And her prayers seemed to go unanswered. But God…

But God had other plans. In the Fall of 2021, Nancy was invited to join forces with Masterpiece Ministries of Arkansas (MMOA). The following January she was voted onto the Board of Directors. Two and a half years after that, she became the Ministry’s first Program Director. In that role, she facilitated the home’s day-to-day operations and assisted young women as they escaped the bonds of addiction and entered into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

In March 23, 2026, Nancy was offered the opportunity to become MMOA’s Director of Community Outreach. In that role, she is responsible for building relationships with churches and other community partners in Polk and Montgomery Counties. Essentially, Nancy now has the delightful task of telling the MMOA story, sharing how vital its existence is to the health and welfare of women in our home counties.

Jennifer  leads by example, showing residents that lasting change is possible through faith,  commitment, and community support.

Her story is a powerful testimony of restoration and purpose. Jennifer continues to inspire  others by demonstrating that a life surrendered to Christ can lead to stability, leadership,  and a meaningful path forward in recovery.

Rachel Crow

My name is Rachel Crow, and I have been in recovery at Masterpiece Ministries of AR (MMOA) for the last ten months.

Since coming to The Master’s House, I’ve achieved more than at any other treatment program in which I’ve participated. Before, addiction swallowed up decades of my life, damaging me in ways I’m still trying to understand. I was hopeless. Since my arrival, I’ve undertaken a tremendous journey that has changed my legal, financial, and physical health. My interpersonal relationships are more genuine and connected, and most important of all, I’m now walking with God.

Over the last ten months, I’ve successfully completed the Polk and Montgomery Counties Drug Court Program. That means I’ve maintained sobriety throughout my months-long participation in Drug Court. My driver’s license has been returned to me, and I’ve finished eleven classes, and I’m learning Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation as well as water course skills. I have no idea whether I’ll need either of these, but I’ll be ready if I do.

Along with all these other positive changes, I am now in a position to reach out and give back to the women in my Masterpiece community, because I’m continuing to live at The Master’s House, not as a resident, but as an employee. Starting just one month ago, I became the Assistant In House Case Manager, and two days a week, I am entirely responsible for the ladies and the home when the Case Manager takes her days off. I am trusted to take responsibility for the residents. I am trusted.

As the Assistant, my dream is to acquire skills that will enable me to help other addicts and alcoholics successfully achieve their goal of permanent lifestyle change and spiritual transformation. Thank you Masterpiece Ministries for giving me back my life and for helping me do God’s will. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to help other women who right now are where I was. Thank you for giving me a purpose, the goal of  helping others achieve the same success and peace of mind that I have.

Thank you.
